A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING HONORABLE MAYOR ROLEN C. PAULINO TO ENTER INTO A MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT (MOA) IN BEHALF OF THE CITY OF OLONGAPO, ZAMBALES WITH THE DEVELOPMENT BANK OF THE PHILIPPINES (DBP), REPRESENTED BY ITS HEAD, REGIONAL MARKETING CENTER – CENTRAL LUZON, VP EDUARDO Z. RIVERA FOR THE ENHANCED SALARY LOAN PROGRAM

            WHEREAS, Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP) has launched an enhanced program of providing financial assistance in the form of salary loans to qualified officers and employees of Local Government Unit (LGU) of Olongapo City, Zambales in accordance with the Salary Loan Program Guidelines for Officers and Employees of Local Government Units (LGUs), Government Agencies/Offices Corporations, State Universities and Colleges, Local Water District and Electric Distribution Companies;

            WHEREAS, in consideration of DBP’s agreement to extend salary loan to the said borrowers the LGU of Olongapo City, Zambales the Olongapo City Government commits itself to fulfil its obligations relative to its accreditation, the eligibility of  officers and employees, and the remittance of DBP of the monthly amortizations due, in accordance with the Program Guidelines and the terms and conditions set forth in the Agreement.

            NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of City Councilor Elena C. Dabu, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

 

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang  Panlungsod in session assembled, to authorize, as it hereby authorizes Honorable Mayor Rolen C. Paulino to enter into a Memorandum Of Agreement (MOA) in behalf of the City of Olongapo, Zambales with the Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP), represented by its Head, Regional Marketing Center – Central Luzon, VP Eduardo Z. Rivera for the Enhanced Salary Loan Program.
