RESOLUTION NO. 108
(Series of 2005)

A RESOLUTION CONFERRING THE STATUS OF “ADOPTED
SON OF OLONGAPO CITY” TO EDGAR RAYMUNDO

WHEREAS, Olongapo City continues to establish diplomatic ties with different foreign agencies;

WHEREAS, the city greatly benefits the aforesaid ties due to the resultant assistance in delivery of basic services, capability-building and development of local enterprise, thereafter improving the productivity and income and further enhance the economic and social well-being of the people;

WHEREAS, Edgar Raymundo, is a United States resident who has several times been awarded for his outstanding contribution to the Filipino community as Youth Director of National Federation of Fil-Am Republican and his sincere dedication, excellent leadership qualities and outstanding community involvement, making him a Leadership Awardee for being a role-model for all Filipino-Americans;

WHEREAS, he extended contribution to the city by providing selfless efforts in facilitating all that may be necessary, thereafter ensuring success of the projects undertaken by the city abroad, including extending staff support;

NOW, THEREFORE, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present;

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to confer, as it hereby honorably confers to EDGAR RAYMUNDO the status of “Adopted Son of Olongapo City” in gratitude for his invaluable help and unselfish love for this city.
