In the interest of the public service and on motion of Councilor Cynthia G. Cajudo, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to enact the following Ordinance:

ORDINANCE NO. 24
(Series of 2006)

AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE AMOUNT OF ONE MILLION PESOS
(PHP1,000,000.00) FOR THE LIVELIHOOD CAPITAL ASSISTANCE PROJECT CHARGEABLE AGAINST THE PAGCOR FUNDS

BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD IN SESSION ASSEMBLED, THAT:

SECTION 1. The amount of One Million Pesos (PhP1,000,000.00) is hereby appropriated for the Livelihood Capital Assistance Project chargeable against the PAGCOR Fund.

SECTION 2. This appropriation Ordinance shall be subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.

SECTION 3. The pertinent letter request of Honorable James Gordon, Jr. dated May 2, 2006 and a Certificate of Availability of Funds dated May 15, 2006 issued by Mr. Marcelino D. Andawi, City Treasurer are hereby made as integral parts of this Ordinance.

SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its approval
