A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE APPOINTMENT OF MAREY BETH D. MARZAN AS CITY GOVERNMENT DEPARTMENT HEAD II (CITY PLANNING OFFICER) SG-26 UNDER CITY PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT OFFICE

WHEREAS, the City Mayor has appointed Marey Beth D. Marzan as City Government Department Head II (City Planning Officer) under City Planning and Development Office pursuant to Civil Service Law, Rules and Regulations;

WHEREAS, Section 454 (d) of RA 7160, otherwise known as Local Government Code of 1991 provides that heads of departments shall be appointed by the City Mayor with the concurrence of the majority of all members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod.

NOW, THEREFORE, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to confirm as it hereby confirms the appointment of Marey Beth D. Marzan as City Government Department Head II (City Planning Officer) SG-26 which effects the appropriation in the amount of Two Hundred Ninety Seven Thousand Two Hundred Seventy Six Pesos (PhP297,276.00/a) in the item City Government Head II under the account “Salaries” of the City Planning and Development Office;

RESOLVED FURTHER, AS IT IS HEREBY FURTHER RESOLVED, that copies of this Resolution be furnished Marey Beth D. Marzan and the Civil Service Commission through the Personnel Office of the City Government of Olongapo for their information and reference.
