In the interest of public service and on the motion of Councilor Gina G. Perez, with the unanimous accord of the members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present.

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to enact the following Ordinance:

ORDINANCE NO. 47
(Series 2008)

AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CHARGING OF PREVIOUS YEAR’S OBLIGATION FOR GASOLINE EXPENSES OF THE OFFICE OF THE CITY ENGINEER TO THE 2008 BUDGET IN THE AMOUNT OF ONE HUNDRED SEVENTEEN THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED NINETY FOUR PESOS AND 32/100 (PhP117,794.32) TO THE ITEM GASOLINE, OIL & LUBRICANTS UNDER THE MAINTENANCE & OTHER OPERATING EXPENSES
OF THE OFFICE OF THE CITY ENGINEER.

BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD IN SESSION ASSEMBLED THAT:

SECTION 1. The amount of One Hundred Seventeen Thousand Seven Hundred Ninety Four Pesos and 32/100 (PhP117,794.32) of the previous year’s obligations for Gasoline Expenses of the Office of the City Engineer is hereby charged to 2008 Budget under the item Gasoline, Oil & Lubricants, Maintenance and Other Operating Expenses of the Office of the City Engineer.

SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.


SECTION 3. The pertinent letter-request of the Honorable City Mayor James Gordon Jr., dated 01 August 2008 and the Memorandum from Engr. Redentor D. Villanueva, Engineer III, OIC dated 30 January 2008 are hereby made as integral parts of this Ordinance.
