In the interest of the public service and on motion of Councilor Gina Gulanes-Perez, with the majority decision of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to enact the following Ordinance:


ORDINANCE NO. 50
(Series of 2008)

AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE AMOUNT OF SIX MILLION NINE HUNDRED THIRTY THREE THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED SEVENTY-FIVE PESOS (P6,933,175.00) FOR THE EXPENSES OF CAPITAL OUTLAY OF THE OFFICE OF THE CITY MAYOR AND MAINTENANCE & OTHER OPERATING EXPENSES (MOOE) AND CAPITAL OUTLAY OF ENVIRONMENTAL SANITATION & MANAGEMENT OFFICE (ESMO) TO BE TAKEN FROM FY 2008 INTERNAL REVENUE ALLOTMENT (IRA) INCREASE


BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD IN SESSION ASSEMBLED THAT:

SECTION 1. The amount of Six Million Nine Hundred Thirty Three Thousand One Hundred Seventy Five Pesos for the expenses of Capital Outlay of the Office of the City Mayor and Maintenance & Other Operating Expenses (MOOE) and Capital Outlay of E.S.M.O. is hereby appropriated to be taken from FY 2008 Internal Revenue Allotment (IRA) increase, to wit:

SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.

SECTION 3. The pertinent letter-request of the Honorable City Mayor James Gordon Jr., dated 11 August 2008, Memoranda from Mr. Dante P. Ramos, City Government Department Head II dated July 15 and 30, 2008 and Certificate of Availability of Funds from the City Treasurer Marcelino Andawi dated 20 August 2008 shall be made as integral parts of this Ordinance.

SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
