WHEREAS, the members of the Local Development Council of the City of Olongapo had convened and formulated the 2009 Annual Investment Plan on May 6, 2009 held at the FMA Hall, Olongapo City Hall Complex;

WHEREAS, the City received an additional Php15,600,000.00 20% Development Fund aside from the Php81,000,000.00 loan from the Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP) and the receipt of Php5,000,000.00 from the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR);

WHEREAS, the process of formal revision of the 2009 AIP to accommodate projects deemed vital to the welfare and interest of the citizenry is a good governance practice of transparency and an optimum utilization of scarce public resources;

WHEREAS, the Local Development Council convened on December 7, 2009 to review and finalize the said proposed revision to the 2009 Annual Investment Plan within the realm of the strategic plans of he city, namely; the HELPS Program and the City Development Strategy Program (CDS) and consistent with the higher rehabilitation development programs of the national government;

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of City Councilor Edwin J. Piano, on behalf of the majority party with the majority decision of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present;

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled to enact the following Ordinance:

AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE REVISED 2009 ANNUAL INVESTMENT PLAN OF THE CITY OF OLONGAPO AMOUNTING TO ONE HUNDRED SEVENTY EIGHT MILLION EIGHT HUNDRED THIRTEEN THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED SIXTY THREE PESOS AND TWELVE CENTAVOS (PHP178,813,463.12)

BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSDO IN SESSION ASSEMBBLED, THAT:

SECTION 1. Copy of the said approved Revised Annual Investment Plan of Olongapo City be made as integral part of this Ordinance.
