RESOLUTION NO. 110

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MAYOR,
HON. JAMES GORDON JR., TO ENTER INTO A MUTUAL ACCREDITATION AGREEMENT WITH THE PERSONNEL WELFARE ASSISTANCE (PWA)
OF THE COMMISSION ON AUDIT (COA)
FOR AND IN BEHALF OF THE JAMES L. GORDON MEMORIAL HOSPITAL, ON THE PROVISION OF HEALTH CARE AND MEDICAL SERVICES

WHEREAS, the Commission on Audit (COA) had forged agreement with FG Financial Company, Incorporated, a health insurance provider in line with its Personnel Welfare Assistance (PWA) program which provides medical and hospital benefits to its members;

WHEREAS, for its members to avail of the benefits of the said health insurance company through the services of the James L. Gordon Memorial Hospital, this City, the Sangguniang Panlungsod deems that accreditation of the said health care provider is necessary;

WHEREAS, the mutual accreditation agreement with the PWA of COA in this regard will also set the procedures in the settlement of corresponding bills of their members/patients and enhance the financial capability of the hospital while its members/patients benefit from quality medical attention;

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of Councilor Cynthia G. Cajudo, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to authorize, as it hereby authorizes the City Mayor, Hon. James Gordon Jr., to enter into a mutual accreditation agreement with the Personnel Welfare Assistance (PWA) of the Commission On Audit (COA), for and in behalf of the James L. Gordon Memorial Hospital, on the provision of health care and medical services.
