In the interest of the public service and on motion of Councilor Cynthia G. Cajudo, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to enact the following Ordinance:

ORDINANCE NO. 25
(Series of 2006)

AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE AMOUNT OF FIFTY TWO THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED FORTY SIX PESOS AND 30/100 (PHP52,446.30) AS PAYMENT FOR THE SALARIES OF THREE (3) MEDICAL AND NURSING PERSONNEL TO BE TAKEN FROM SAVINGS FROM VARIOUS VACANT POSTIONS UNDER THE JAMES L. GORDON MEMORIAL HOSPITAL

BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD IN SESSION ASSEMBLED, THAT:

SECTION 1. The amount of Fifty Two Thousand Four Hundred Forty Six Pesos and 30/100 (PhP52,446.30) is hereby appropriated from the Unappropriated Balance of the General Fund not otherwise appropriated and the same is hereby made available to be taken from savings from various vacant positions under the James L. Gordon Memorial Hospital as payment for the salaries of three (3) medical and nursing personnel, to wit:

SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.

SECTION 3. The pertinent letter request of Honorable City Mayor James Gordon, Jr., dated 10 May 2006, the memorandum from Mr. Ferdie M. Magrata, MPM, Hospital Administrator, James L. Gordon Memorial Hospital, dated 27 April 2006 and the Certificate of Availability of Funds dated 2006 issued by Mr. Marcelino D. Andawi, City Treasurer are hereby made as integral parts of this Ordinance.

SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its approval
