RESOLUTION NO. 115
(Series of 2006)

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MAYOR TO ENTER INTO A TRANSMISSION SERVICE AGREEMENT (TSA) WITH THE NATIONAL TRANSMISSION CORPORATION (TRANSCO) REPRESENTED BY ALLAN T. ORTIZ, Ph.D, PRESIDENT AND CEO

WHEREAS, the National Transmission Corporation (Transco) requires all its distribution utilities to sign a Technical Service Agreement, which will govern transmission and other related services;

WHEREAS, this move will unbundle the City’s power rates and as such is expected to provide greater benefits to the consuming public of the City;

WHEREAS, the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod deem it best to authorize the City Mayor, Honorable James Gordon, Jr. to sign the said agreement for and in behalf of the City Government of Olongapo on this regard;

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of Councilor Anselmo A. Aquino, co-sponsored by Councilor John Carlos Delos Reyes, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to authorize, as it hereby authorizes the City Mayor to enter into a Transmission Service Agreement (TSA) with the National Transmission Corporation (Transco) represented by Allan T. Ortiz, Ph.D, President and CEO.
