RESOLUTION NO. 166
(Series of 2006)

A RESOLUTION ALLOWING THE CITY MAYOR JAMES GORDON, JR. TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT ALLOWING FOR EMERGENCY EXTENSION OF JANITORIAL SERVICES WHICH WILL EXPIRE AUGUST 31, 2006


WHEREAS, Mrs. Carmen C. Del Rosario, General Manager, Subic Bay Workers/Volunteers Multi-Purpose Cooperative, Inc. wrote Mayor James Gordon, Jr. regarding the expiration of the Janitorial Services on August 31, 2006;

WHEREAS, she expressed intent to provide the City Government of Olongapo with janitorial services again;

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of Councilor Cynthia G. Cajudo, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present;

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to allow, as it hereby allows the City Mayor James Gordon, Jr., to enter into a contract allowing for emergency extension of Janitorial Services which will expire August 31, 2006.

RESOLVED, FURTHER, AS IT IS HEREBY FURTHER RESOLVED, that the emergency extension of the said contract be subject to the guidelines of the extension of services.
