A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE APPOINTMENT OF MR. FERNANDO M. MAGRATA AS CITY GOVERNMENT DEPARTMENT HEAD II (CITY ADMINISTRATOR) SG-26,
UNDER THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR’S OFFICE


WHEREAS, the City Mayor has appointed Mr. Fernando M. Magrata as City Government Department Head II (City Administrator) under the City Administrator’s Office pursuant to Civil Service Laws, Rules, and Regulation;

WHEREAS, Section 454(d) of RA 7160, otherwise known as the Local Government Code of 1991, provides that heads of departments shall be appointed by the City Mayor with the concurrence of the majority of all members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod.

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of Councilor Gina G. Perez, co-sponsored by Councilors John Carlos G. delos Reyes, Rodel S. Cerezo, Edwin J. Piano, Angelito W. Baloy, Aquilino Y. Cortez, Jr., Elena C. Dabu and Cheenee F. Hoya, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS I IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to confirm, as it hereby confirms, the appointment of Mr. Fernando M. Magrata as City Government Department Head II (City Administrator) SG-26, under the City Administrator’s Office which effects the appropriation in the amount of Two Hundred Ninety Seven Thousand Two Hundred Seventy Six Pesos (PhP297,276.00) in the item City Government Department Head II under the account “salaries” of the City Administrator’s Office.

RESOLVED FURTHER, AS IT HEREBY FURTHER RESOLVED that copies of this Resolution be furnished MR. FERNANDO M. MAGRATA and the Civil Service Commission thru the Personnel Office of the City of Olongapo for their information and reference.
