            In the interest of public service and on motion of City Councilor Elena C. Dabu, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

            RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to enact the following Ordinance:

ORDINANCE NO. 21

AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE AMOUNT OF SIXTY ONE MILLION PESOS (PHP61,000,000.00) FOR THE ACQUISITION OF HEAVY EQUIPMENT FOR FLOOD MITIGATION AS WELL AS FOR THE INDISPENSABLE PRELIMINARIES OF THE FERRY RE-DEVELOPMENT OF THE OLONGAPO-SUBIC BAY DRAINAGE CHANNEL

            BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD IN SESSION ASSEMBLED, THAT:

            SECTION 1.  The amount of Sixty One Million Pesos (PhP61,000,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the proceeds of  loan under the Disaster Management Assistance Fund (DMAF), Municipal Development Fund Office, Department of  Finance for the Acquisition of the following heavy equipment relative to the Ferry Re-development of the Olongapo-Subic Bay Drainage Channel and the Flood Control Projects of Olongapo City.

                        One (1) unit amphibious excavator

                        One (1) Unit backhoe loader

                        Two (2) units 10-wheeler dump track

                        One (1) unit wheel loader

                        One (1) unit skid steer loader

            SECTION 2.   This ordinance shall be subject to the usual  accounting and auditing rules and regulations.

            SECTION 3.  The pertinent documents on the proposal acquisition  of the heavy equipment to be funded under the Disaster Management Assistance Fund (DMAF) pursuant to Resolution No. 158, Series of 2013 be made an integral part of this ordinance.

SECTION 4.  This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon approval.
