RESOLUTION NO. 86

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MAYOR TO ENTER INTO A MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT WITH THE SAMAHANG UGNAYAN NG MGA GAWAING PAMPAMAYANAN SA OLONGAPO (SUGPO) REGARDING THE COLLECTION OF PARKING FEES AT THE CITY MALL

WHEREAS, Olongapo City heeds the call for partnerships between local government units, non-government organizations and cooperatives in the delivery of basic services;

WHEREAS, the implementation of pay parking at the Olongapo City Mall as provided in item XX Parking, of the House Rules and Regulations at the Olongapo City Mall, moreso, under Ordinance No. 11, Series of 2005 along Magsaysay Drive and the collection thereof are two of the areas where the services and participation of a cooperative can be relied upon;

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of Councilor Cynthia G. Cajudo, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to authorize, as it hereby authorizes the City Mayor to enter into a Memorandum Of Agreement with Samahang Ugnayan Ng Mga Gawaing Pampamayanan sa Olongapo (SUGPO) regarding the collection of parking fees at the City Mall.
