RESOLUTION NO. 138

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE HON. CITY MAYOR JAMES GORDON, JR. TO ENTER INTO A MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT IN BEHALF OF
THE OLONGAPO CITY COUNCIL FOR THE WELFARE OF CHILDREN WITH THE REGIONAL SUB-COMMITTEE FOR THE WELFARE OF
CHILDREN IN RELATION TO THE EARLY CHILDHOOD CARE AND DEVELOPMENT (ECCD) PROGRAM IMPLEMENTATION IN THE CITY

WHEREAS, the ECCD Act aims to institutionalize nationwide, a national ECCD System that is comprehensive, integrative and sustainable, that involves multi-sectoral agency collaboration at all levels of government;

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of Councilor Marey Beth D. Marzan, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to authorize, as it hereby authorizes the City Mayor James Gordon, Jr. to enter into a Memorandum of Agreement in behalf of the Olongapo City Council for the Welfare of Children with the Regional Sub-Committee for the Welfare of Children in relation to the Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) Program implementation in the City.

RESOLVED FURTHER, AS IT IS HEREBY FURTHER RESOLVED, that copies of this Resolution be furnished to Director Lina B. Laigo, Executive Director of Council for the Welfare of Children, Sta. Mesa Heights, Quezon City and Director Margarita V. Sampang, Chairperson, Regional Sub-Committee for the Welfare of Children (RSCWC), Maimpis, City of San Fernando, Pampanga.
