A  RESOLUTION  EXPRESSING  PROFOUND  FELICITATIONS

AND CONGRATULATIONS TO THE IGLESIA NI CRISTO (INC)

ON THE OCCASION OF ITS CENTENNIAL ANNIVERSARY

WHEREAS, the Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC) is celebrating its Centennial Anniversary on July 27, 2014;

WHEREAS, Iglesia Ni Cristo is one of the largest indigenous Christian religious organizations whose primary purpose is to worship the almighty God based on his teachings as recorded in the Bible;

WHEREAS, Iglesia Ni Cristo is for everyone who will heed the call of God and embrace its faith regardless of nationality, cultural background, social standing, economic status, and educational attainment;

WHEREAS, through the years, INC’s membership is steadily increasing, to date it has 5,545 congregations and missions worldwide, united in faith and centralized discipline maintaining a high moral standard;

WHEREAS, Iglesia Ni Cristo does not only spread the teachings of God, it promotes Christian brotherly love, extending a helping hand not only to its members but anyone in need, spearheading worthy cause, among them is the conduct of record breaking “Worldwide Walk” for the benefit of Super Typhoon Yolanda victims;

WHEREAS, the Iglesia Ni Cristo under the leadership of its present Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, continues to be blessed with sustained growth and greater success entering another milestone since its establishment in 1914 by Brother Felix Y. Manalo;

NOW, THEREFORE, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present;

            RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to express as it hereby expresses Profound Felicitations and Congratulations to the Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC) on the Occasion of its Centennial Anniversary.

            Let copies of this resolution be furnished to Iglesia Ni Cristo Central and Iglesia Ni Cristo Locale for their information and record.
