RESOLUTION NO. 89

A RESOLUTION RATIFYING THE MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT (MOA) ENTERED INTO BY AND BETWEEN THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF OLONGAPO REPRESENTED BY THE CITY MAYOR JAMES GORDON, JR. AND STA. CECILIA MEDICAL CENTER, IN A MANNER CONSISTENT WITH LAW

WHEREAS, the Sta. Cecilia Medical Center (SCMC) is a Certified Level II Hospital existing under and by virtue of the laws of the Philippines, with principal address at National Road, Palanginan, Iba, Zambales, represented herein by its Hospital Administrator, Dr. Adonis M. Calaycay and its Medical Director, Dr. Gregorio A. Cabacar;

WHEREAS, Resolution No. 54, Series of 2011 entitled “A Resolution Authorizing the Honorable City Mayor James Gordon Jr. to Sign and Enter into a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Sta. Cecilia Medical Center for a Referral System with the James L. Gordon Memorial Hospital, in a Manner Consistent with Law” has been passed by the City Council last May 25, 2011 and duly approved by the City Mayor last June 07, 2011;

WHEREAS, there is a need to ratify the Memorandum of Agreement of the City Mayor James Gordon, Jr. and the Sta. Cecilia Medical Center, in accordance with the law.

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of City Councilor Edna A. Elane, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present;

 RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled to ratify, as it hereby ratifies, The Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) Entered Into By and Between the City Government of Olongapo Represented by the City Mayor James Gordon, Jr. and sta. Cecilia Medical Center, in a Manner Consistent with Law.
