A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR JAMES GORDON, JR. TO ENTER, EXECUTE AND SIGN A MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT WITH THE GEORGE DEWEY MEDICAL COLLEGE, INC. FOR THE BARANGAY STA. RITA HEALTH CARE CENTER AS AN ADOPTED RURAL HEALTH UNIT FOR THE GEORGE DEWEY MEDICAL COLLEGE, INC. NURSING STUDENTS IMMERSION AND ON-THE-JOB TRAINING REQUIREMENTS, IN A MANNER CONSISTENT WITH LAW

WHEREAS, the City’s Health Care Centers remain as among the recognized efficient social service health care facilities, by reason of which higher learning educational institutions are confident with entrusting the training of their students;

WHEREAS, the George Dewey Medical College, Inc. of Zambales Highway, Upper Cubi, Subic Bay Freeport Zone, Olongapo City, requested for a Memorandum of Agreement with the city whereby they requested to formalize its adoption of the Sta. Rita Health Care as among the city’s adopted rural Health Care Units for their Nursing students’ immersion and on-the-job actual training experience;

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of City Councilor Eyrma Yvette Marzan-Estrella and Edna A. Elane, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present;

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled to authorize, as it hereby authorizes the Honorable City Mayor James Gordon, Jr. to Enter, Execute and Sign a Memorandum of Agreement with the George Dewey Medical College, Inc. for the Barangay Sta. Rita Health Care Center as an adopted Rural Health Unit for the George Dewey Medical College, Inc. Nursing students immersion and on-the-job training requirements, in a manner consistent with law.
