A RESOLUTION COMMENDING MR. TOM-JUDZ MEDIARIO MARMETO

FOR GARNERING THE 10^TH PLACE AT THE 2013 CUSTOMS BROKER

LICENSURE EXAMINATION

WHEREAS, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced that 533 out of 1,278 passed the Customs Broker Licensure Examination given by the Board for Customs Brokers in Manila, Cebu and Davao last October 2013; 

WHEREAS, out of all passers nationwide, Mr. Tom-Judz Mediario Marmeto, a Bachelor of Science in Customs Administration graduate of Gordon College, garnered an outstanding 88.75% rating, earning him the 10^th highest place among all the successful takers;

WHEREAS, this achievement extends the honor to the city as this proves an attainment in the city’s goal to produce competent professionals with the uplifting of the quality of education;

WHEREAS, Mr. Marmeto’s exceptional accomplishment is worth emulating by the youth of the city; as he serves as a role model for academic excellence;

NOW, THEREFORE, with the accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present;

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in the session assembled, to commend, as it hereby commends Mr. Tom-Judz Mediario Marmeto for garnering the 10^th Place at the 2013 Customs Broker Licensure Examination.

FOR GARNERING THE 15^TH PLACE AT THE 2013 CERTIFIED

PUBLIC ACCOUNTANT LICENSURE  EXAMINATION

WHEREAS, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board of Accountancy officially released the results of October 5, 6, 12 and 13, 2013 Certified Public Accountants Licensure Examination;

WHEREAS, out of 4,246 passers nationwide, Ms. Regina Joy Mangampo Basa, a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy graduate of Gordon College, garnered the 15^th highest place among all the successful takers;

WHEREAS, this achievement extends the honor to the city as this proves an attainment in the city’s goal to produce competent professionals with the uplifting of the quality of education;

WHEREAS, Ms. Basa’s exceptional accomplishment is worth emulating by the youth of the city; as she serves as a role model for academic excellence;

NOW, THEREFORE,  with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present;
