RESOLUTION NO. 132

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR JAMES GORDON JR. TO ENTER INTO A MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT (MOA) BY AND BETWEEN GORDON COLLEGE AND BATAAN GENERAL HOSPITAL REPRESENTED BY ITS CHIEF OF HOSPITAL GLORY V. BALTAZAR, M.D. FOR THE TRAINING OF ITS NURSING STUDENTS IN FULFILLMENT OF THEIR COURSE REQUIREMENTS

WHEREAS, Gordon College with business and postal address at Old Hospital Road, East Tapinac, Olongapo City is a duly recognized institution;

WHEREAS, Bataan General Hospital located in Balanga, Bataan is a duly authorized teaching and training agency of the Department of Health (DOH);

WHEREAS, Gordon College proposes for the affiliation and training of its Nursing students at Bataan General Hospital in fulfillment of their course requirements and further accedes to the policies and regulations of Administrative Order No. 5-A, Series of 1996 of the Department of Health;

WHEREAS, Bataan General Hospital is ready to accept students for the completion of the said requirements under the supervision of fully trained and competent clinical instructors;

NOW, THEREFORE, on joint motion of Councilors Jonathan G. Manalo and Aquilino Y. Cortez, Jr., with the majority decision of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to authorize, as it hereby authorizes the Honorable City Mayor James Gordon Jr. to enter into a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) by and between Gordon College and Bataan General Hospital represented by its Chief of Hospital Glory V. Baltazar, M.D. for the training of its Nursing Students in fulfillment of their course requirements.
