In the interest of public service and on motion of Councilor Rexy Gregorio-Cruz, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to enact the following Ordinance:

ORDINANCE NO. 129 (Series of 2003)

AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE AMOUNT OF SIXTY SEVEN THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED PESOS (PHP67,500.00) TO THE ITEM REPRESENTATION EXPENSE UNDER THE OFFICE OF THE CITY MAYOR

BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD IN SESSION ASSEMBLED, THAT:

SECTION 1. The amount of Sixty Seven Thousand Five Hundred Pesos (PhP67,500.00) is hereby appropriated from the Unappropriated Balance of the General Fund, not otherwise approp.Iiated and the same is hereby made available to the item Representation Expense under the Office of the City Mayor in connection with the Lakbay-Aral of the Municipality of Tabango, Leyte last September 25, 2003

SECTION 2. This appropriation Ordinance shall be subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.

SECTION 3. The pertinent letter request of the Honorable City Mayor Katherine H. Gordon, dated November 04, 2003 and the Certificate of Availability of Funds dated November 05, 2003 issued by Mr. Marcelino D. Andawi, City Treasurer are hereby made as integral parts of this Ordinance.

SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.

AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE AMOUNT OF FORTY FIVE THOUSAND PESOS (PHP45,000.00) TO THE ITEM REPRESENTATION EXPENSE UNDER THE OFFICE OF THE CITY MAYOR

BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD IN SESSION ASSEMBLED, THAT:

SECTION 1. The amount of Forty Five Thousand Pesos (PhP45,OOO.OO) is hereby appropriated from the Unappropriated Balance of the General Fund, not otherwise appropriated and the same is hereby made available to the item Representation Expense under the Office of the City Mayor in connection with one (1) day extension of the sponsorship of the City for the festivities/cultural presentation relative to the on-going Hilaga-Northern Philippines Tourism exposition.

SECTION 2. This appropnation Ordinance shall be subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.

SECTION 3. The pertinent letter request of the Honorable City Mayor Katherine H. Gordon, dated October 29, 2003 and the Certificate of Availability of Funds dated November 04, 2003 issued by Mr. Marcelino D. Andawi, City Treasurer are hereby made as integral parts of this Ordinance.

SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
