A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF OLONGAPO REPRESENTED BY CITY MAYOR JAMES GORDON, JR. TO ENTER INTO A MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT WITH JIMEC GLOBAL HOLDINGS,
INC. REPRESENTED BY ITS PRESIDENT MS. ARABELLA F. ULAYE REGARDING THE (PTC2S-PUBLIC TRANSPORT COLOR CODED SCHEME, PATS-PUBLIC ASSISTANCE TRACKING SYSTEM,VMS-VOLUNTEER MANAGEMENT SYSTEM)

WHEREAS, the City of Olongapo pioneered in the implementation of the first color coded transportation system and became the model to all local government units in the Philippines;

WHEREAS, the city recognizes the advantages of harnessing Information and Communications Technology as a tool to enhance the delivery of basic services;

WHEREAS, JIMEC Global Holdings, Inc. is an ICT corporation with an extensive experience in providing ICT solutions which are designed to facilitate an innovative and effective way of managing the city’s public transport vehicles, drivers and operators, public assistance services and volunteer services;

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of Councilor Cynthia G. Cajudo, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,


RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to authorize, as it hereby authorizes the City Government of Olongapo represented by City Mayor James Gordon, Jr. to enter into a Memorandum of Agreement with JIMEC Global Holdings, Inc. represented by its President Ms. Arabella F. Ulaye regarding the (PTC2S-Public Transport Color Coded Scheme, PATS-Public Assistance Tracking System, VMS-Volunteer Management System).

A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ANNUAL BUDGET OF BARANGAY NEW KALALAKE, CITY OF OLONGAPO
FOR THE CALENDAR YEAR 2007


On motion of Councilor Edwin J. Piano, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to approve, as it hereby approves the Barangay Budget of Barangay New Kalalake, City of Olongapo for the Calendar Year 2007 considering that the budget as contained in Barangay Resolution No. 02 , Series of 2007 of Barangay New Kalalake, upon review by the Sangguniang Panlungsod, has substantially complied with the requirements and limitation set forth under R.A. No. 7160 or the Local Government Code of 1991 and other pertinent issuances, circulars and memoranda with respect to Barangay Budgets: PROVIDED, that the City Accountant is enjoined to observe that the conditions enumerated by the City Budget Officer in his endorsement letter of March 22, 2007 on the matter which form an integral part of this Resolution are strictly complied with, and the requirements imposed by City Resolution No. 3, Series of 1996 are fully satisfied.

AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE AMOUNT OF SEVENTY THREE THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED TWENTY FOUR PESOS (PHP73,424.00) TO THE ITEM OTHER MACHINERIES AND EQUIPMENT UNDER CAPITAL OUTLAY OF OLONGAPO CITY CONVENTION CENTER TO BE TAKEN FROM SPECIAL ACCOUNT-OLONGAPO CITY CONVENTION CENTER UNDER THE GENERAL FUND

BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD IN SESSION ASSEMBLED, THAT:

SECTION 1. The amount of Seventy Three Thousand Four Hundred Twenty Four Pesos (PhP73,424.00) is hereby appropriated from Special Account-Olongapo City Convention Center under the General Fund not otherwise appropriated and the same is hereby made available to the item Other Machineries and Equipment under Capital Outlay of Olongapo City Convention Center for the replacement of spare parts of the standby generator.

SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.


SECTION 3. The pertinent letter-request of the Honorable City Mayor James Gordon, Jr., dated 19 March 2007, letter of Mr. Glenn M. Fabricante, Overall Coordinator, Olongapo City Convention Center dated 2 March 2007 and a Certificate of Availability of Funds dated April 10, 2007 issued by Mr. Marcelino C. Andawi, City Treasurer are hereby made as integral parts of this Ordinance

The amount of One Hundred Thirty Two Thousand Pesos (PhP132,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Unappropriated Balance of the General Fund not otherwise appropriated and the same is hereby made available to the item Subsidy to NGOs-Senior Citizen under Maintenance and Other Operating Expenses of the Office of the City Mayor for the honorarium/allowance of the Senior Citizens Federation Officers
