FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2012 IN THE AMOUNT OF FIVE MILLION THREE HUNDRED

EIGHTY NINE THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED EIGHTY THREE PESOS AND 26/100 (PHP5, 389,483.26) OPERATIVE IN ITS ENTIRETY

In the interest of public service and on motion of City Councilor Gina Gulanes-Perez, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungod present;

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungosd in session assembled, to declare as it hereby declares the Annual Budget of Barangay New Kalalake, for the Fiscal Year 2012 in the amount of Five Million Three Hundred Eighty Nine Thousand Four Hundred Eighty Three Pesos and 26/100 (Php5,389,483.26) operative in its entirety;

RESOLVED FURTHER, AS IT IS HEREBY FURTHER RESOLVED, that copy of Barangay                              Kalalake Appropriation Ordinance No. 001 dated January 19, 2012 and a letter from Ms. Marey Beth D. Marzan, City Budget Officer dated May 09. 2012 be made as integral parts of this Resolution.

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE HONORABLE CITY MAYOR JAMES GORDON, JR. TO ENTER, EXECUTE, AND SIGN A MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT WITH SM CITY MALLS FOR THE ACCREDITATION OF GORDON COLLEGE FOR ITS SCHOLARSHIP

PROGRAM IN A MANNER CONSISTENT WITH LAW

WHEREAS, SM City Malls has a scholarship program for the underprivileged incoming college students with provisions for college financial support with educational institutions with whom it has an accreditation agreement;

WHEREAS, after discussion with the city leadership, and as a manifestation of its corporate social responsibility, SM City Malls endeavored to accredit Gordon College as one of the accredited educational institutions where its scholars and could enroll;

NOW, THEREFORE, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present;

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungosd in session assembled, to authorize, as it hereby authorizes the Honorable City Mayor James Gordon, Jr. to enter, execute, and sign a Memorandum of Agreement with SM City Malls for the accreditation of Gordon College for its scholarship program in a manner consistent with law.
