A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE NO. 01, SERIES OF 2010 OF THE BARANGAY MABAYUAN OPERATIVE IN ITS ENTIRETY SUBJECT TO SOME CONDITIONS

WHEREAS, Appropriation Ordinance No. 01, Series of 2010 of the Barangay Mabayuan authorizing its Annual Budget for Fiscal Year 2010, involving an appropriation of Five Million Four Hundred Thirty Eight Thousand Two & 86/100 Pesos (PhP5,438,002.86), was submitted to Sangguniang Panlungsod of Olongapo for review pursuant to the provisions of Republic Act No. 7160;

WHEREAS, subject Appropriation Ordinance shows substantial compliance with the same law and its Implementing Rules and Regulations.

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of City Councilor Edwin J. Piano, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present;

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled to declare, as it hereby declares the Appropriation Ordinance No. 01, Series of 2010 of the Barangay Mabayuan operative in its entirety, effective upon approval subject to the posting requirements under Section 59 of R.A. No. 7160;

RESOLVED FURTHER, AS IT IS HEREBY FURTHER RESOLVED, that this review action does not authorize any item of appropriation that is specifically prohibited by or inconsistent with the provisions of laws and that compliance with all existing laws, rules and regulation shall be the responsibility of Barangay Mabayuan.

Let copies of this Resolution be furnished the Sangguniang Barangay of Mabayuan.

A RESOLUTION COMMENDING THE MONUMENTAL CONTRIBUTIONS OF OLONGAPO CITY COUNCILOR, HONORABLE EDWIN J. PIANO AND CONGRATULATING HIM FOR EMERGING AS ONE OF THE TEN OUTSTANDING COUNCILORS OF THE PHILIPPINES (TOCP) FOR 2010

WHEREAS, City Councilor Edwin J. Piano has emerged as one of the Ten Outstanding Councilors of the Philippines (TOCP) for 2010 conducted by the Philippine Councilors League (PCL) in partnership with the Junior Chamber International (JCI) and the Office of Senator Edgardo Angara;

WHEREAS, with his three-term dedicated service, City Councilor Edwin J. Piano maintained a strong symbol of excellence that Olongapeños should emulate in public service;

WHEREAS, THE City of Olongapo considers Honorable Edwin J. Piano as the pride of the entire city with his commendable award after the decisive selection among the councilors all over the country;

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of City Councilor Gina G. Perez, co-sponsored by City Councilors Rodel S. Cerezo, Aquilino Y. Cortez, Jr., Anselmo A. Aquino, Elena C. Dabu, Jonathan G. Manalo, Audie S.
