A RESOLUTION COMMENDING OUTGOING CITY VICE-MAYOR CYNTHIA GREGORIO-CAJUDO FOR HER 30 YEARS OF MERITORIOUS, DEDICATED AND OUTSTANDING SERVICE AS A PUBLIC OFFICIAL

WHEREAS, the ideal public servant is a person that puts the welfare of others first and foremost in public service. A person that has dedicated her life to the service of the people and whose integrity remained unquestionable throughout the years. A person whose achievements have not happened by chance but through vision, dedication, leadership, and hard work that she put into building solid reputation throughout the community. A person who have set aside her more lucrative professional career in order to serve the public. Public service is not an easy task and is not for all people. A public servant must carry with her a genuine heart to serve her constituents and the dedication to change lives for the better;

WHEREAS, Vice –Mayor Cynthia Cajudo is the ideal public servant. For 30 years she dedicated most of her life to public service. She has started a lot of advocacies that is not only aimed at serving her constituents in general but for particular marginalized sectors of the society. These are the war veterans and senior citizens, the youth and the women sectors. Her work has uplifted the lives of these individuals not only in providing them with the needed government support for their livelihood but also in protecting their rights against neglect and abuse. Vice-Mayor Cynthia’s advocacy for the war veterans and senior citizens may have stemmed from her lifelong dedication to her parents. Long after her loving parents were gone, she continually shows her love for her parents by serving the senior citizens through various projects and advocacies resulting into the passage of resolutions that gave benefits to them. In addition to the basic rights of the senior citizens, the World War II veterans who are senior citizens themselves have received support from the Vice Mayor. The women sector that is vulnerable to poverty, abuse, and deprivation has gotten a strong ally that fought for their rights, gave them opportunities, protected them from abuse and contributed a lot in improving their lives. The youth sector that are often neglected and exposed to abuse, bad influences, and lack of opportunities also received the needed support from the advocacies of the Vice Mayor;

WHEREAS, the public life of Vice Mayor Cajudo is all but a reflection of her personal life. Despite her successes in her political career affording her power and privilege, Vice Mayor Cajudo continue to lead a simple and frugal lifestyle. Her dedication to her family has produced three exceptional off springs including Olongapo’s Civil Registrar and Olongapo’s City Dentist. She has also dedicated her life in serving the Lord and continues to spread that influence to all people that she encounters. In the dirty world of politics where corruption, influence peddling, scandals and other acts that tarnish the good reputation of public service, Vice Mayor Cajudo is a shining example of an honest to goodness public servant. The City of Olongapo is forever grateful to the service of this honorable lady and she will remain in the hearts of Olongapeños forever;

NOW, THEREFORE, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to commend, as it hereby commends Outgoing City Vice-Mayor Cynthia Gregorio-Cajudo For Her 30 Years Of Meritorious, Dedicated and Outstanding Service As A Public Official.

RESOLVED FURTHER, AS IT IS HEREBY FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this Resolution be furnished City Vice-Mayor, Hon. Cynthia G. Cajudo, for her record.

A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING OLONGAPO CITY’S WARMEST GREETINGS AND FELICITATIONS TO THE HOLY NATION, ISRAEL THROUGH THE CITY’S ENVOY, VICE-MAYOR CYNTHIA G. CAJUDO

WHEREAS, Israel is known in the Philippines as the root of Christian belief ;

WHEREAS, the Philippines, predominantly Christian believers, stands that it has a historic tie with the birth of Israel, as a nation. Such belief anchored in the Bible connects them to the land and the people of Israel;

WHEREAS, Olongapo City does not only support but adheres to the wisdom our forebears have exemplified, living out their strong grip of faith and pays tribute to the contributions of our Jewish brothers in various fields of endeavors in the spirit of unity and peace;

WHEREAS , the City of Olongapo and its people supports the protection and the right to peaceful living of all Israelites as well as other nations under God’s creation;

WHEREAS, City’s leadership deems it best to present such token of cordiality to the nation of Israel in its celebration of Rosh Hashana;

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY VICE MAYOR CYNTHIA G. CAJUDO IN BEHALF OF THE OFFICE OF THE CITY COUNCIL TO ENTER INTO A RENTAL ALL-IN CONSUMABLES SERVICE AGREEMENT (RACSA) WITH XEROGRAFIX BUSINESS PRODUCTS AND SERVICES, INC.


WHEREAS, the previous RACSA agreement with Philippine Fuji Xerox had expired;

WHEREAS, the City Council’s operation is affected by the non-performance of the current FUJI Xerox 5039;

WHEREAS, the copying machine is one of the most important machine in the office of the City Council since copies of all important documents, instrumentalities and laws should always be given to all the members of the Council and to the public as well;

WHEREAS, there is an immediate need to enter into an agreement for the operation/use of a copying machine;

NOW, THEREFORE, on joint motion of Councilors Marey Beth D. Marzan and John Carlos G. delos Reyes with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to authorize, as it hereby authorizes the City Vice Mayor Cynthia G. Cajudo in behalf of the Office of the City Council to enter into a rental all-in consumables service agreement (RACSA) with Xerografix Business Products and Services, Inc.
