RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to enact the following Ordinance:


ORDINANCE NO. 58
(Series of 2008)

AN ORDINANCE TEMPORARILY CLOSING A PORTION OF FILTRATION ROAD CORNER CAMIA STREET AND SAMPAGUITA ROADS OF BARANGAY STA. RITA, THIS CITY TO TRAFFIC FROM 9:00 A.M. TO 12:00 MIDNIGHT ON OCTOBER 31, 2008 FOR THE 25TH YEAR SACERDOTAL ANNIVERSARY OF REV. FR. NELSON. C. VENCILAO

BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD IN SESSION ASSEMBLED, THAT:

SECTION 1. A portion of Filtration Road corner Camia Street and Sampaguita Road, Barangay Sta. Rita, Olongapo City be closed temporarily from 9:00 a.m. to 12 midnight on October 31, 2008.

SECTION 2. The above-mentioned temporary closure is in line with the holding of the 25th Year Sacerdotal Anniversary of Rev. Fr. Nelson C. Vencilao.

SECTION 3. Re-routing of vehicles to be outlined by the Office of the Traffic Management and Public Safety with the BPSO of Barangay Sta. Rita is necessary during the said closure.

SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.

A RESOLUTION CONGRATULATING REV. FR. JOSE NELSON C. VENCILAO ON HIS 25TH SACERDOTAL ANNIVERSARY OF FRUITFUL SERVICE AS A PRIEST

WHEREAS, Rev. Fr. Jose Nelson C. Vencilao, born and raised in Olongapo, celebrates his 25th Sacerdotal Anniversary this year;

WHEREAS, Fr. Vencilao demonstrated notable leadership qualities that guided the parishes of St. William in San Marcelino, Holy Infant in San Antonio, St. James in Subic, San Sebastian in San Narciso, Sta. Monica in Botolan, St. Anthony de Padua, all in Zambales and St. Anne in Gordon Heights, Olongapo City. He is presently assigned in Sta. Rita Parish, Olongapo City;

WHEREAS, he has given enormous encouragement and support to the leadership team as well as the laity by being keen in listening to the needs of his parishioners and involved them in running the parish;

WHEREAS, he spoke passionately about remaining in the faith and served as a tower of strength of his parish. He displayed professional competence in many endeavors and blest the City with his warmth and friendship;

WHEREAS, the City is proud of godly impact he had lavishly shared the City constituents and shares his joy in this significant moment of his ministry;

NOW, THEREFORE, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled to congratulate, as it hereby congratulates Rev. Fr. Jose Nelson C. Vencilao on his 25th Sacerdotal Anniversary of fruitful service as a priest.

Let copies of this Resolution be furnished the Diocese of Iba, Zambales Rev. Fr. Jose Nelson C. Vencilao for their information and record.
