A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ATTY. ANGELITO OROZCO, CITY LEGAL OFFICER TO REPRESENT OLONGAPO CITY FOR AND IN BEHALF OF THE CITY MAYOR, HON. JAMES GORDON, JR. AND THE VICE-MAYOR, HON. CYNTHIA G. CAJUDO IN THE PRE-TRIAL PROCEEDINGS OF CIVIL CASE NO. 118-0-2009, ENTITLED “BALOY ET. AL. VERSUS HON. JAMES GORDON, JR. ET. AL.,” TO SIGN PERTINENT DOCUMENTS THERETO AND TO PERFORM EVERY ACT AND REQUISITES NECESSARY REGARDING THE SAID CASE

WHEREAS, considering the exigency of the matter, the Sangguniang Panlungsod deems it best to authorize Atty. Angelito R. Orozco to represent the City for and in behalf of the City Mayor, Hon. James Gordon, Jr. and the Vice-Mayor, Hon. Cynthia G. Cajudo in the pre-trial proceedings of Civil Case No. 118-0-2009, now pending before the Regional Trial Court of Olongapo City, Branch 72;

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of Councilor Rodel S. Cerezo, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled to, to authorize, as it hereby authorizes Atty. Angelito Orozco, City Legal Officer to represent Olongapo City for and in behalf of the City Mayor, Hon. James Gordon, Jr. and the Vice-Mayor, Hon. Cynthia G. Cajudo in the pre-trial proceedings of Civil Case No. 118-0-2009, entitled “Baloy et. al. versus Hon. James Gordon, Jr. et. al.,” to sign pertinent documents thereto and to perform every act and requisites necessary regarding the said case.

A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE RENEWAL OF APPOINTMENT OF ATTY. ANGELITO R. OROZCO AS CITY GOVERNMENT DEPARTMENT HEAD II (CITY LEGAL OFFICER) SG-26, UNDER THE CITY LEGAL OFFICE


WHEREAS, the City Mayor has appointed Atty. Angelito R. Orozco as City Government Department Head II (City Legal Officer) under the City Legal Office pursuant to Civil Service Laws, Rules, and Regulations;

WHEREAS, Section 454(d) of RA 7160, otherwise known as the Local Government Code of 1991, provides that heads of departments shall be appointed by the City Mayor with the concurrence of the majority of all members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod;

NOW, THEREFORE, with the unanimous accord of the Members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod present,

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Sangguniang Panlungsod in session assembled, to confirm, as it hereby confirms, the renewal of appointment of Atty. Angelito R. Orozco as City Government Department Head II (City Legal Officer) SG-26, under the City Legal Office which effects the appropriation in the amount of Two Hundred Seventy Thousand Two Hundred Fifty Two Pesos (PhP270,252.00) in the item City Government Department Head II under the account “Salaries” of the City Legal Office;

RESOLVED FURTHER, AS IT HEREBY FURTHER RESOLVED, that copies of this Resolution be furnished ATTY. ANGELITO R. OROZCO and the Civil Service Commission thru the Personnel Office of the City of Olongapo for their information and reference.
